iTicket.law, operating under the Hatley Law Office, is a North Carolina-based traffic law firm founded in April 2009 by attorney Daniel A. Hatley. The idea for the firm was inspired by Dan's personal experience with a traffic ticket during his law school years at the University of North Carolina. Dissatisfied with the service and lack of communication he received, Dan aimed to create a more client-centric and technologically advanced legal practice.

The firm grew slowly but surely over the next five years, until in 2014 when it partnered with Extraordinary Ventures (EV). EV helped massively expand the mailing efforts of the firm.

Two years later the Hatley Law Office launched iTicket.law, furthering Dan's goal of bringing traffic law into the 21st century. With the launch, the firm expanded it's capacity to serve its clients greatly, and created the foundation for its future ability to save clients time and stress.

iTicket.law has always been dedicated to improving the client experience in every way, and in 2020 it furthered this goal by creating the My Case Portal, allowing clients to check on their case status 24/7. In their My Case Portal, Clients can review messages from their attorney, submit documents, and sign forms for their case(s).

In 2022, iTicket.law released a statewide license restoration program, designed to help people with revoked licenses get back on the road. The program was a huge success, making what is usually a confusing and stressful process, simple and easy. Since it started in 2022, iTicket.law has helped thousands of its clients get their licenses reinstated.

Today iTicket.law can now serve clients on over 95% of traffic tickets across North Carolina. Moving to the future, iTicket.law continues its mission to break down barriers to legal defense by combining unparalleled service with revolutionary software. We look forward to continuing to make our software better and better in the coming years!
